Weddings

Let me help you plan your special day!

From a wedding with all the bells and whistles, a group of 12 people or less or something with absolutely no fuss, we’ll work together to ensure that your day is exactly what you’ve always dreamt of.

As your celebrant I will ensure that you enjoy it to the full and that it will be fun and stress free.

To get started, we will arrange an obligation free face-to-face meeting where I will get to know you, find out exactly what you require for your wedding vows and you can see if I’m the right fit for your special day.

At the first meeting we will attend to your NOIM (Notice of Intention to Marry) we will also discuss readings, wedding vows, rituals and traditions. I will give you examples of poems, readings and ceremonies to consider.

We may organise a second meeting where you can finalise the script for your wedding ceremony and we will meet for a rehearsal 1 or 2 weeks before the actual ceremony.

Inclusions in my services are:

  • Initial visit and assistance with NOIM (Notice of Intention to Marry). This must be lodged 1 month before your marriage ceremony or up to 18 months prior.

  • Assistance with a selection of vows, ceremonies, readings and ceremonial ideas and rituals.

  • Subsequent meetings and rehearsals if you wish.

  • Travel to your ceremony.

  • Conducting the ceremony.

  • Provision of table and audio equipment if required.

  • Commemorative copy of your marriage certificate.

  • Registering your marriage.

Naming ceremony

A naming ceremony, is an opportunity for family and friends to welcome a child into the family and community. It is an opportunity for parents, guardians and friends to make a commitment to the part they plan to play in the child's journey through life.

I will help you to design a ceremony that is perfect for you and your child. I will give you ideas and options to consider including ideas for readings, songs and scripts for ceremonies. Ultimately you will make the decisions.

 

Vow renewal

Couples who have been married for some years may wish to renew their vows, this is a recommitment of their promises to one another.

Small ceremony

You may want a small ceremony with a few close friends or even one where it is just the two of you. This is also possible and I will again assist you with writing your vows and arrange witnesses.

Funerals

I am also able to prepare the ceremony for a funeral and celebration of a loved one’s life. This involves meeting with close family to ensure that the ceremony is exactly what everyone needs to say farewell.

I am also able to do housewarmings, graduations and any other ceremony that you may need.
